The secret to healthy, glowing skin has always had a simple foundation of hydration. However, giving your skin the treatment it needs at home can be hard–especially if you suffer from dryness, clogged pores, or other skin concerns.

Rather than stressing your skin even more with harsh treatments and peels, give it what it needs: the refreshing, plumping HydraFacial®. At Capitis Medical & Aesthetics, we are certified HydraFacial® specialists excited to provide this rejuvenating yet gentle treatment for the face, neck, and body.

What Is a HydraFacial®?

Our skin goes through a lot from day to day: pollution, cosmetics, and sun exposure can cause the skin to be dry, irritated, and lackluster. The HydraFacial® restores lost nutrients, rehydrates the skin, and gently removes impurities through a three-step system that results in soothed, nourished, glowing skin.

The HydraFacial® can improve dull, dehydrated skin, gently exfoliate, and deeply soothe the skin in a simple but luxurious, non-invasive treatment.

This non-invasive treatment utilizes a hand device, or wand, for deeper skin penetration and longer-lasting results. The HydraFacial® device thoroughly cleanses and exfoliates with a peel to remove dead skin and other impurities. Then, with a gentle vacuuming mode, the device unclogs pores without damaging the skin. Finally, the HydraFacial® device adds essential serums to hydrate and restore a healthy glow to the skin.

What Are the Benefits of a HydraFacial®?

The HydraFacial® tackles some of the most common but frustrating skin issues. Through highly customizable treatments, the HydraFacial® can:

  • Improve skin texture and minimize the appearance of pores
  • Restore essential hydration and nutrients
  • Deeply cleanse and exfoliate impurities and dead skin
  • Increased hydration reduces fine lines and wrinkles
  • Balance oily or congested skin

Additionally, HydraFacial® is a gentle, non-invasive alternative to harsher treatments. It is safe for all skin types, including sensitive, acne-prone, aging, combination, and dry.

What Are My HydraFacial® Options?

The HydraFacial® is an excellent facial treatment, but it can also be administered to various body parts to improve skin health overall.

Capitis Medical & Aesthetics HydraFacialists are also trained in utilizing this device for effective treatments on more than the face; the HydraFacial® is also fantastic for the neck, back, decolletage, hands, arms, buttocks, and scalp.

Am I a Candidate for a HydraFacial®?

One of the best features of the HydraFacial® is its versatility and application for people of all skin types, hydrafacial-proceduretones, and ages. It is deeply cleansing but nourishing, and those with even the most sensitive skin can generally tolerate the treatment.

Candidates for a HydraFacial® should not have rosacea, active rashes, or be pregnant.

What Can I Expect from a HydraFacial®?

Your HydraFacial® will be fully customized to your needs. We offer various serums to help brighten, calm, clarify, or hydrate your skin. Your HydraFacialist® will provide a comprehensive consultation to determine what will best benefit your skin.

Your HydraFacial® will begin with a cleansing and exfoliating treatment. Your specialist will pass the handpiece across the treatment area, removing dead skin cells and excess sebum. Next, gentle acid exfoliants are applied to remove oil clogging the pores. Lastly, the HydraFacial® handpiece is used to vacuum out skin impurities like blackheads and dirt while applying hydrating serums.

After your treatment, your skin may be slightly red, but this will quickly subside. There are rarely any other side effects of this gentle treatment, making it a fantastic option for most patients.

Following treatment, your skin will be glowing, plumped, and, most importantly, hydrated.

How Much Does a HydraFacial® Cost?

At Capitis Medical & Aesthetics, each treatment that we offer is customized to suit the individual patients’ needs. The cost of your HydraFacial® will depend on the treatment plan developed during your consultation, the size of the treatment area, and if you are combining your HydraFacial® with any other procedures.

Dr. Crose and the Capitis Medical & Aesthetics team can provide an accurate cost estimate during your consultation.

When Will I See the Results of a HydraFacial®?

You will see an instant, hydrated glow in your treatment area. Your pores may appear smaller, while your skin will feel clean and refreshed. Many patients report firmer, plumper skin the following day, as their skin had time overnight to soak up all the nutrients from the treatment.

HydraFacial® Frequently Asked QuestionsAre-HydraFacial-worth-it

How often should I get a HydraFacial®?

The HydraFacial® is designed to improve skin health over time. It is recommended that patients who want smoother, more hydrated, and nourished skin should consider adding HydraFacial® to their monthly skin maintenance routine.

Are there any side effects associated with the HydraFacial®?

HydraFacial® is regarded as a very gentle, safe procedure for many patients. It does not come with any downtime or recovery period. However, patients should report any skin allergies to avoid adverse reactions to serums or acids used during treatment.

Can I combine my HydraFacial® with any other treatments?

Yes. Many patients choose to combine their HydraFacial® treatments with other non-surgical procedures that are offered at Capitis Medical & Aesthetics, including neuromodulator injections such as BOTOX® Cosmetic or Dysport®  for the treatment of dynamic wrinkles or dermal fillers to restore volume.
