Health is every person’s greatest asset, and there is so much more one can do to maintain it than just hope for good luck. Imagine combining all the newest evidence-based scientific medical knowledge and diagnostic tools to help identify undiagnosed diseases and future problems that you might have. Then, using the same state-of-the-art medical knowledge to treat and guide you back to optimal health. That is what we are doing at Capitis Medical & Aesthetics: Evidence-based biohacking.

Dr. Crose offers a new form of integrative medicine that combines aspects of non-invasive, evidence-based, and research-based medicine to diagnose and treat patients with the ultimate goal of helping the patient’s own body heal itself and maintain its optimal function. This form of medicine has been practiced in the biohacking community for a number of years, but until now, the evidence has been insufficient in many of the areas and treatments. The investigation and research results are mounting for the best therapies in this world of advanced medicine. Dr. Crose brings them all together to help his patients.

Functional regenerative medicine combines the new fields of functional medicine and regenerative medicine with Naturopathic Holistic medicine and Traditional Conventional Western medicine, all tied together with his Osteopathic Principles to bring the ultimate Integrative Medical Experience.

What Is Biohacking?

Biohacking is a term for the health movement that rejects the notion of leaving one’s health and longevity up to chance. It asks us to examine our biology, genetics, anatomy, and lifestyle and optimize our health and wellness beyond assumed limitations.

Biohacking, sometimes called do-it-yourself (DIY) biology, can look like incorporating supplements into your diet, optimizing your exercise routine for your anatomy, or utilizing light therapy to establish an effective sleep cycle, but the techniques will differ from person to person, based on their goals and health.

What Is Functional Medicine?

Functional medicine focuses on genetic and epigenetic testing to help guide medical and lifestyle changes for patients. This form of medicine uses each individual’s genetic blueprint to guide their choices in supplements, diet, and exercise routines that are best suited for them. Functional medicine is great at helping patients find and maintain balanced health for their personal genetic programming and can help slow down aging by supplementing the weaker areas of our genes to help protect us from future threats.

What Is Regenerative Medicine?

Regenerative medicine focuses on helping the body heal and renew itself. This medicine combines diagnostic tools from modern medicine to guide treatments for injuries and ailments, as well as diseases that have accumulated or occurred in our lives. Regenerative medicine helps the individual’s body reactivate its innate capacity to heal by using stem cells, exosomes, peptides, bioidentical hormones, radiofrequency, and other therapies. These treatments heal and activate the stem cells and functional genes in the person’s own body to start healing disease and injury faster and more efficiently.

What Is Naturopathic Holistic Medicine?

Naturopathic medicine has been around for longer than modern medicine and uses herbs and naturally occurring compounds to treat diseases and ailments.  This type of medicine is less invasive than conventional medicine and is perfect for addressing difficult-to-treat toxicities and imbalances in the body, such as mycotoxins, organic toxins, and heavy metals. It also provides alternative therapies to guide the body back to balanced health, and the treatments are generally better tolerated than modern medicines.

What Is Conventional Modern Western Medicine?

Conventional Western medicine is what we have adopted as the standard of care across most of the modern world. It is supported by rigorous scientific studies and massive clinical studies with well-documented applications. Though it tends to overlook smaller details in the overall experience of individualized medicine and does not usually focus on individual uniqueness of disease and health, it does provide robust and powerful tools to diagnose and treat major life-threatening diseases. To date, it is the most reliable and trusted medicine for a good reason. Yet despite these positive outcomes, it does not prevent disease well and does not help focus on cumulative, everyday health and wellness. Western medicine can be considered a reactive type of medical care in that it solves problems when they arise, but it does little in the way of proactive care.

How Can Functional Regenerative Medicine Help You?

Pulling from these branches of medicine allows Dr. Crose to serve his patients more effectively and in a manner that aligns with each person’s natural healing abilities. Too many patients have been disappointed by conventional Western approaches to medicine, as the tenets of this field too often neglect the implications and benefits of treating the whole body and creating a recursive practice of health and wellness.

Whether you have a chronic issue or simply want to optimize your health to feel and function better, Dr. Crose can help you create a health and wellness program that works for you.
